Family Supports: Special Services at Home

Our Special Services at Home Program (SSAH) provides personalized support for children with developmental and/or physical disabilities, up until the age of 18.

This program is funded by Ontario’s Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services to help the child learn new skills or abilities or to provide respite support for the family.

We can help you apply for this funding and support you through every step of the process. We will develop a personalized care plan to meet your needs and coordinate and support the delivery of eligible services.

Special Services at Home funding can be used to help your child learn new skills and develop new abilities, such as improving their communications skills or becoming more independent. It can also be used to provide respite support, providing you a break, or respite, from the day-to-day care of your child.
