Anna Babin is the CEO, The Meadows Home for Special Care, Yarmouth, NS. She brings expertise in health-care leadership and governance to the VON Board of Directors.
Anna is a certified health executive who is currently CEO at the 105-bed The Meadow’s Home for Special Care in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Under her leadership, and through her research work on governance control mechanisms in health-care organizations, Anna has overseen significant governance restructuring initiatives that have fostered collaboration and increased engagement.
Anna brings over two decades of leadership experience in several industries including health care, government, technology, marketing and financial services sectors. Passionate about optimizing health, she currently serves on several health committees and boards and is distinguished by her ability to build relationships. Anna brings extensive experience from provincial, national and international organizations, including not-for-profits.
Anna has an MBA from Athabasca University, is a chartered professional in human resources and has completed Dalhousie University's certificate in legal aspects of health-care administration.
