Diabetes Education

We can teach you, at our Diabetes Education Centre or in your home, how best to manage your diabetes.

Knowing how to properly manage your diabetes is critical to your health. As a participant in our Diabetes Education program, you’ll learn about its treatment and various treatment options such as continuous glucose monitoring or insulin pumps. You’ll find out more about meal planning and the importance of exercise and maintaining a healthy weight. We’ll teach you about the complications to watch out for and how to prevent them. We can also help you apply for any funding that might be available.

This service is open to those with Type 1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes or pre-diabetes, including children with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes.
